Services Yesterday For Mrs. Van Natta
Funeral services were held in Payette yesterday for Mrs. Minnie Van Natta, 66, longtime Payette and Fruitland resident who died Sunday. Services were conducted at the Payette Church of the Brethren with interment at Riverside Cemetery in Payette. Rev. Arthur Durr officiated and arrangements were under the direction of the Shaffer Memory Chapel.
Mrs. Van Natta moved to Payette county in 1906 from her birthplace, Sabtha, Kan. She married Cornelius A. Van Natta at Fruitland in 1908. He died April 24, 1952.
Church Member
Mrs. Van Natta was a member of the American Women's League and a lifetime member of the Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Joyce M. Debben of Payette; two sons, Merle Van Natta of Pocatello and Virgil Van Natta of Strasburg, Pa; three brothers, Roy Bowers of Fruitland, Arno Bowers of San Marino, Calif. and Edward Bowers of Nampa, and Five grandchildren.
