Services Set For Mary Jane Warden
Mrs. Mary Jane Warden, 61, of Fruitland, died at her home Tuesday morning after a long illness.
Born August 20, 1895, in Brownwood, Texas, Mrs. Warden came to Fruitland from Oklahoma in 1909. She was married to Lawrence W. Warden in Payette on July 5, 1922.
She was a member of the Christian church, the Rebekah lodge, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Orchard Avenue Grange and the Payette-Washington County Pomona Grange.
Surviving in addition to her husband is a sister, Mrs. Oma Hale Turner of Nyssa, Ore.
Services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in the Shaffer Memory Chapel with the Rev. Martin Torrence officiating. Interment will be at Riverside cemetery with the Rebekah lodge conducting graveside rites.
