James Edward "Doc" Stills

Funeral services for former Ontario man James Edward "Doc" Stills, 50, were conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the Payette Chapel of the Roses by Bishop Gary Fuhriman, Payette Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Stills died Sunday at a Renton Wash. hospital. He was living at Renton. Interment followed in Rosedale Memorial Gardens, Payette.

Born Nov. 23, 1929 in La Grande, Ore., he married Mosa Kowazoi Oct. 1, 1946 in Spokane. Later Mr. Stills was married to Dorothy Russell. He was a member of the LDS Church and had served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Sam (Margaret Jeanine) Ginyard, and a son Michael J. Stills, both of Los Angeles; his mother Vera Long of Pendleton; a sister, Mrs. Herb (Marjie) Coder of Nampa and three grandchildren. His father preceded him in death.
