Payette County Resources Available
Through Your Local Family History Center

Family History Centers are branches of the Family History Library located in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was founded in 1894 to gather genealogical records and assist members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with their family history and genealogical research. The Family History Library is open to the general public free of charge and the staff are exceptionally helpful. It is a great place to get started or do advanced research. I highly recommend a visit.
Find your local Family History Center at familysearch.org

Your local Family History Center will be able to borrow any of these microfilms from the main Family History Library in Utah to be used at their center. They charge a small fee and usually have the microfilm within ten days.
